Adoption Fees

Effective September 1, 2002

Dog     $ 55.00

Cat     $ 40.00

4/15/2005:  You are required, as part of your adoption agreement, to have the adopted pet spayed/neutered.  You are responsible for paying all veterinarian fees directly to the veterinarian, including the fee for surgery.  You will receive a substantial discount off the usual price of spay/neuter surgery if you present your copy of the adoption agreement to a participating Marshall County veterinarian when making your pet's appointment for surgery.

Upon submission of a completed spay/neuter rebate form, along with proof that the surgery was completed, you will be eligible for a $10 rebate from MCHS.  The necessary forms, and details of the procedure will be explained to you when you finalize the adoption.  We encourage you to talk to your veterinarian about charges when you make your appointment.
